A word from the Director
On many occasions I have been asked by my patients why I chose the name
of the Manchester Clinic, and if it has anything to do with the famous
industrial city of Manchester in the north of England, United Kingdom.
The history of the Manchester Clinic does indeed have a lot to do with this wonderful city. It is in Manchester where I had the honour of studying Medicine and Urology for ten years with some of the worlds pioneers in the field of Urological research and surgery.
But that's not the end of the story. My wife is from Manchester, my three sons were born in Manchester, and I have many friends in Manchester together with a tremendous store of cherished memories of all the good time I spent there in the 70's and 80's.
The Manchester Clinic is dedicated, therefore, to the magnificent team of doctors who taught me the art of surgery and Urology, my wife Christina, my sons Michael, Andrew and Anthony and to the city of Manchester itself, for which I shall always have a deep affection.
I would like to give to the Manchester Clinic an unrivalled professionalism, not only in the field of Urology, but also through a dedicated top-stream team of UK trained doctors and specialists who are here to take care of you.
